There are a lot of investors out there trying to find investment properties by getting everything that’s priced well(mostly under market value). Have you ever considered being an investor?  From our experience, location is the most important thing that you need to consider when buying a home as an investment. The home’s condition is not quite as relevant when looking for investment properties as the possibility of renting it out for a long term and the idea of the home matching with a variety of buyer types. Look for location, duplex, triplex, not terrible shape, low HOA as much as possible and long rental goals.
